Jared Deery

Jared C. Deery, born in Philadelphia in 1980, has exhibited his work in major cities such as Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Milan, and Berlin. He has also participated in prestigious international events, including the Salone del Mobile in Italy and the Saint-Etienne Design Biennale in France. After moving to New York in 1997, Deery earned his BFA with honors from Pratt Institute in 2001 and later completed his MFA at Hunter College in 2009. His work is held in private collections across New York, Chicago, Denver, Japan, and Italy. Deery’s paintings delve into the realms of memory and sensory perception, often using flowers as a central motif. Through these depictions, he explores visionary and metaphorical symbology, where the flowers serve as the locus of abstraction.
